One of the largest greenhouse complexes in the region “Sukhovsky” in Kemerovo has become a new member of the national project “Labor Productivity”. The enterprise, with the support of experts from the Regional Competence Center (RCC), will implement lean technologies in order to increase yields and increase production volumes.
“In the new economic conditions, we need to provide the inhabitants of the region with our products, to fully meet the needs of the region in fresh and natural products. Now this figure is more than 45%. The national project “Labor Productivity” will help our agricultural producers grow their products faster, in greater volumes and at a lower cost due to the efficient organization of all production processes,” said Sergey Tsivilev, Governor of Kuzbass.
Greenhouses where lettuce and herbs are grown will become a pilot site for increasing labor productivity. These products are supplied to the shelves of Kuzbass stores all year round and occupy about 10% of the total turnover of the agricultural enterprise.
“Lean technologies will make it possible to reduce the laboriousness of the processes of growing greens, to reduce the costs of packaging and transporting finished products. The result will be a reduction in the volume of defects, a reduction in the time spent and an increase in the quality of the crop, ”added Dmitry Perekrestov, head of the Kuzbass Regional Competence Center.
Employees of the agricultural enterprise will receive free training in the basics of increasing labor productivity, and then, with the support of experts, they will be able to apply new competencies in their workplaces. The first results can be assessed in 3-6 months. Participation in the national project is designed for three years, in each of which the efficiency of work should increase by at least 5%.
The national project “Labor Productivity” is focused on medium and large enterprises of the basic non-primary sectors of the economy. As Russian President Vladimir Putin has repeatedly noted, an increase in labor productivity is necessary for the development of the economy and, on this basis, an increase in the current standard of living of citizens. In Kuzbass, 65 companies from the non-primary sector of the economy have already become participants in the national project; they receive expert support from the Federal and Regional Competence Centers (FCC and RCC). In addition, at the initiative of Governor Sergei Tsivilev, 2022 has been declared the Year of Increasing Labor Productivity and Economic Efficiency in the region.
