In 2019 G.S. Toykeva from the village of Edelbay became a participant in the regional competition “Agrostartup”, aimed at the development of small forms of farms of the agro-industrial complex in the region. From the regional budget, she was given a grant for the construction of a greenhouse and growing vegetables.

Today, there are 1,500 healthy tomato bushes in her greenhouse. Some of them have already formed small green fruits. The first harvest is planned to be received by June 1, and in general, the gross harvest for 2022 should be at least 10 tons of tomatoes.
Later G.S. Toikeeva is going to build a small nursery for growing seedlings. Now she buys seeds and transfers them to a third-party organization for growing seedlings. With a nursery, this need will disappear.
