Competitive selection for receiving a subsidy within the framework of the regional project “Acceleration of small and medium-sized businesses” this year is planned to be held from March to May
In 2023, it is planned to allocate more than 30 million rubles to support beginning farmers. This was announced by the Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Crimea Andrei Savchuk. Competitive selection for receiving a subsidy within the framework of the regional project “Acceleration of small and medium-sized businesses” this year is planned to be held from March to May.
“In addition to supporting young professionals who have completed their agricultural studies and work in the Crimean agro-industrial complex, for the 5th year we will also help young Crimean farmers start their own business. Over the 4 years of the implementation of the Agrostartup program, 54 peasant farms received state support. As a result, new small poultry, livestock, crop and bee farms have appeared in the Republic of Crimea. Our young people are actively interested in the agricultural topic, they offer their interesting business plans, which they then implement in practice,” commented the head of the Crimean Ministry of Agriculture.
Andrey Savchuk also said that as a result of state support in 2022, several vegetable farms appeared in Crimea, a raspberry and vineyard in a greenhouse, a poultry farm for the production of eggs, and a fruit storage facility for apples and pears is being built. Young farmers deliver their products to hospitals, kindergartens and schools of the peninsula, and also sell them at agricultural fairs.
Last year, about 19 million rubles were allocated for the implementation of the regional project “Acceleration of small and medium-sized businesses” of the national project “Small and medium-sized businesses and support for individual entrepreneurial initiatives”.
