In 2022, Luhovitsky Greenhouses achieved a remarkable gross harvest of around 21,000 tons within its expansive complex, “Luhovitsky Vegetables.” As of today, they have successfully cultivated and sold more than 27,000 tons of vegetables, with approximately 19,000 tons of cucumbers and 8,500 tons of tomatoes leading the pack.
Looking ahead to 2023, the enterprise has ambitious plans to produce approximately 36,000 tons of vegetables. This growth is underpinned by state-of-the-art technological systems integrated into the greenhouse complex. One notable feature is the four-tiered automated storage area, ensuring adherence to high standards of storage and product logistics.
The greenhouse complex boasts its own robust power center equipped with gas-generating machinery and an automated climate control system. Additionally, it employs a two-level inter-row lighting system using the latest generation LED lamps.
In December 2022, the third phase of the greenhouse facility covering 15 hectares was inaugurated. This expansion includes an unprecedented 2-hectare automated distribution center, currently unmatched globally. Ongoing efforts include the development and integration of software for the automatic sorting, calibration, and packaging of vegetable produce.
