More than 160,000 flowers will decorate the streets of Nadym. The head of the municipality Dmitry Zharomskikh spoke about this on his page on the social network VKontakte.
– This year, more than 160,000 flower seedlings will be planted in Nadym. Today the first batch arrived in the city: marigolds, violas, begonias and other varieties. In the near future they will be planted in flowerpots, decorated in flower beds and flower arrangements,” he wrote.
In addition, the arrangement of lawns in the regional center will continue: specialists will restore last year’s grass and arrange new territories.
A planting campaign began in the settlements as well. For example, seedlings have already arrived in Nori and Priozerny, and planting is in full swing in Pangody and Pravokhetty.
We remind you that more than a million flowers will be planted in Yamal this year. Now more than 30 species are grown in the district’s greenhouses, most of which are acclimatized for the region and bloom well throughout the season.
