Less than a week is left before the start of the largest event in the world of science and technology – the IX International Forum of Technological Discovery. Within its framework, the Siberian Venture Fair will be held.
One of the enterprises that will be presented at the Siberian Venture Fair is Efficient Greenhouses LLC. According to its leader Sergey Soshnin, this year they will present a new development – greenhouse management. Their peculiarity lies in the fact that when growing certain plants, it became possible not only to regulate growth, but also to provide the desired climate, including through the use of energy-efficient technologies.
“The know-how of our system lies in the fact that we have learned to collect the heat that is generated in excess in the greenhouse, accumulate it, and then heat the room at night, when there is not enough sunlight,” said the head of Efficient Greenhouses LLC.
He noted that when using this technology, heating costs are reduced, which means that the final cost of grown products will decrease. Heat from sunlight is used to heat greenhouses.
– If you put a greenhouse on the roof of a building, then part of the heat received can be used to heat the building. Solar heat will be concentrated directly in the greenhouse itself, and then, the excess energy will be distributed when it is needed, Sergey Soshnin specified.
The technology uses a set of equipment. The heat that is collected in the upper part of the greenhouse with the help of pumps during the day is pumped into heat accumulators. And at night, when there is a decrease in temperature, when there is a need for heating the greenhouse, the system turns on the reverse. And the heat is pumped back into the greenhouse, but from the heat accumulators.
In this case, the energy is not converted into another form. With the help of heat exchange, it accumulates in a water accumulator. Cooling one liter of water by one degree can heat 4 liters of air by the same amount.
– Conventional boiler equipment in a greenhouse will typically run 8-9 months a year. This will consume fuel. With the help of our heat accumulator and our installation, the period of use of the boiler house is reduced to 4-5 months, Sergey Soshin explained.
He also said that the company sets itself the task of entering interregional markets. At the same time, the cost of equipment for a greenhouse measuring 500 square meters will be about 5 million rubles.
