A new greenhouse complex, covering an area of 35 hectares, has been opened in Voskresensk, Moscow Oblast, aimed at boosting crop production and creating more job opportunities. The complex, named “Podmoskovye,” is the first phase of a massive agricultural project by the agro-industrial holding company “EKO-Kultura.” The complex includes an energy center, a boiler house, production and mineral fertilizer warehouses, and engineering systems for energy and heat supply, water treatment, and disposal. The distribution center within the complex, covering an area of 15,000 square meters, will sort, pack, and distribute vegetables to stores in the Central Federal District. The project is expected to produce up to 26 tons of agricultural products annually, and with the second phase of construction underway, the capacity is expected to increase to 44,000 tons per year.
The project is supported by the Moscow Oblast Government, which encourages the use of domestic construction materials, with only a small percentage imported. The construction of the greenhouse complex demonstrates the government’s commitment to modernizing agriculture, promoting job creation, and boosting the economy in the region.
In conclusion, the opening of the “Podmoskovye” greenhouse complex is a significant milestone for agriculture in Moscow Oblast, signaling a new era of modernization and innovation in the sector. The complex is expected to create hundreds of jobs and increase crop production, benefiting both the local economy and the region’s food security.
