Operating year-round, the complex specializes in cultivating flavorful leafy salads and environmentally friendly tomatoes.
As part of the national initiative “Productivity of Labor,” the agroholding’s Project Office specialists introduced lean production methodologies at the complex. The results were astounding, reducing the processing time in the automated packing section by one-third, thereby increasing the overall line efficiency by 21%. This, in turn, propelled the production site’s monthly revenue to a remarkable growth of 28 million rubles.
The “Podmoskovye” complex contributes over 17 tons of vegetables annually to the food market. At the agroholding’s largest distribution center, these vegetables undergo sorting, packaging, and are subsequently dispatched for sale.
According to estimates from the Ministry of Investments of the Moscow Region, the economic impact of participating in the “Labor Productivity” program has already reached 4 billion rubles in the region. The project is ongoing, with new companies joining. Alongside “Podmoskovye,” five other enterprises from the “ECO-Culture” agroholding are actively participating in the program.
The success story of the “Podmoskovye” greenhouse complex exemplifies the transformative power of lean production in agriculture. The implementation of efficient practices not only enhances productivity but also contributes significantly to the economic growth of the region. As the industry continues to evolve, embracing innovative methodologies becomes imperative for sustainable and profitable farming.
