In the heart of the Voskresensk urban district, the recently established “Podmoskovye” greenhouse complex, a part of the “ECO-Culture” agroholding, has become a beacon of success in sustainable and efficient agriculture. This state-of-the-art facility cultivates delicious leafy greens and environmentally friendly tomatoes year-round, contributing over 17 tons of vegetables annually to the market.
The crown jewel of the agroholding, the distribution center, not only handles the sorting and packaging of vegetables but also plays a pivotal role in the implementation of the national project “Labor Productivity.” Thanks to the introduction of lean production methodologies by the agroholding’s project office specialists, the automated packaging process time was reduced by one-third, leading to a remarkable 21% overall efficiency increase on the production line. Consequently, the revenue of the production site surged by an impressive 28 million rubles monthly.
The economic impact of participation in the “Labor Productivity” program has been substantial, with the Ministry of Investments of the Moscow Region estimating a four-billion-ruble contribution to the region’s economy.
As the project unfolds, more companies join the initiative. Alongside “Podmoskovye,” five other enterprises of the “ECO-Culture” agroholding actively participate in the program, emphasizing a collaborative approach to enhancing agricultural practices in the region.
Governor Andrey Vorobyev, during his visit to the “Podmoskovye” greenhouse complex in Voskresensk, expressed his enthusiasm for the project’s scale and the readiness to commence the design of the second phase. He highlighted the significance of supporting agribusiness growth and pledged continuous support to the industry’s development.
The success story of “Podmoskovye” illustrates the transformative power of innovative agricultural practices and collaborative initiatives. The integration of lean production methods not only increased efficiency but also contributed significantly to the economic growth of the Moscow region’s agriculture sector. As the program expands, it promises to further elevate the standards of sustainable and productive farming practices.
