Russia is rapidly increasing the production of cultivated mushrooms, mainly greenhouse champignons and oyster mushrooms. In 2019, 47.95 thousand tons of such goods were received in the country, and in 2022 – 130 thousand tons. Last season, the volume of products grown by mushroom farms increased to 152 thousand tons, which was a record for the industry. This trend allows Russia to maintain its place in the top three European mushroom producers.
