In the Leninsky district, thanks to the implementation of the regional project “Acceleration of small and medium-sized businesses” of the national project “Small and medium-sized businesses and support for individual entrepreneurial initiatives”, a raspberry tree appeared in the greenhouse. This was announced by the Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Crimea Andrei Savchuk.
“Using the grant funds, a farmer from the Bagerovo village purchased more than 18,000 raspberry seedlings of one of the new varieties – Karamelka. This variety of remontant raspberries of medium early ripening is one of the latest achievements of domestic breeding thought, which was brought out by scientists from the Nizhny Novgorod region. The “chip” of the hybrid is the aroma of real forest raspberries. The first harvest on the farm is planned to be received in May of this year,” said the Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Crimea.
Andrey Savchuk also added that this is not the only peasant farm that grows this berry in Crimea. For example, a few years ago K(F)H from the Nizhnegorsky district received a grant in the form of subsidies to support start-up farmers as part of the main event “Stimulating the development of priority sub-sectors of the agro-industrial complex and the development of small farms”. With this money, the farmer purchased the necessary equipment and refrigeration equipment for storing berries. In the open air, remontant varieties “Polyana” and “Brusvyana” grow on 4 hectares.
“In the Republic of Crimea, about 20 agricultural producers are engaged in the cultivation of raspberries. These are both large enterprises and small farms in the Sovetsky, Simferopol, Nizhnegorsky, Krasnoperekopsky, Dzhankoysky, Belogorsky and Bakhchisarai regions. The most popular varieties among Crimean farmers are Novosti Kuzmina, Indian Leto and Rubin, – added the head of the Crimean Ministry of Agriculture.
For the implementation of the regional project “Acceleration of small and medium-sized businesses” of the national project “Small and medium-sized businesses and support for individual entrepreneurial initiatives” from 2019 to 2022, 54 C (F) H received grant support for a total amount of more than 130 million rubles.
