About 15 billion rubles will be spent on this.
The corresponding agreement between the owner of the Tulsky greenhouse complex and the Governor of the Tula Region Alexey Dyumin was signed at the XXVI St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.
Cucumbers will be grown in the new greenhouses with a total area of 26 hectares. They will be located on the territory of the already existing greenhouse complex “Tulsky” in the Shchekinsky district.
Two queues are already working there, each with the same area of 26 hectares.
Round, plum-shaped, cocktail tomatoes and cherries are grown in greenhouses. They are sold in large chain stores across the country under the brand “Ecoculture”.
Igor Antonov, General Director of the Tulsky Greenhouse Complex:
– The first mention of our greenhouse complex was in 2016, when at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum we signed an agreement on the start of construction of the first stage. In 2019, the project was implemented. Investment investments of the first stage amounted to about 7.6 billion rubles.
After the commissioning of the first stage, the plant immediately began construction of the second. Now the total area of the complex is 52 hectares of closed ground. It allows you to harvest about 39 tons of harvest per year, this is a large volume.
But we are striving forward. Now work has begun on the implementation of the project of the third stage. Documents and estimates are being prepared.
At the SPIEF, it was about 12 billion rubles of investments. Now, taking into account the economic situation in the country, construction costs will amount to about 15 billion rubles. Despite this, the project will definitely be implemented.
– The Tula region is advantageous in terms of logistics: it is located in the center, it is convenient for us to send products to any regions. In addition, there is a great attitude to investors. The government of the Tula region supports us, so the greenhouse complex in the region has become one of the largest vectors of development of our holding, — said Igor Antonov.
Pavel Tatarenko, Minister of Economic Development of the Tula Region:
– The Tula greenhouse complex has already made about 15 billion investments and created almost a thousand jobs. The construction of the third stage will provide 500 more jobs and double the amount of investment. The company actively uses the support measures provided by the government of the Tula region, including the opportunity to compensate for the costs of infrastructure construction at the expense of taxes that they pay to the regional budget.
According to the Minister of Economic Development of the Tula region, a total of 25 agreements worth more than 500 billion rubles were signed at SPIEF-2022. All these projects are being implemented according to plan.
