As the head of the region stressed, the area of greenhouse complexes in the region is currently over 250 hectares. In 2022, 115.5 thousand tons of vegetables were grown in the region.
“For the first time, about 34 million rubles of subsidies have been provided from the federal and regional budgets – for the introduction of modern technologies in greenhouses,” Veniamin Kondratiev said.
According to him, this will help Kuban maintain its leadership position among other regions. The goal is to grow vegetables all year round, to double the yield in greenhouses.
According to the press service of the regional administration, subsidies will allow installing additional lighting systems in greenhouse complexes, which will make production more efficient by more than 20%.
We reported that Kuban berry producers can receive subsidies for the construction of greenhouses. The relevant amendments to the legislation of the Krasnodar Territory were made by the deputies of the KYC. State support is provided to farmers and individual entrepreneurs who have switched to a special tax regime.
