The Spanish company Carretillas Amate has introduced a new greenhouse machine Tizona Zeus. It rides calmly through the narrow rows of greenhouses, is equipped with air conditioning and an audio system, as well as a new articulation system that allows it to turn around in tight spaces. And more importantly, the machine helps growers protect their crops and the machine operator at the same time.
The Tizona series consists of spraying equipment specially designed for the intensive application of various preparations and fertilizers inside and outside greenhouses, nets, shade houses and multi-tunnels for all kinds of fruits and vegetables. Depending on the crops and soil, the Tizona series machines have different tires for operation, which allows them to work both on sandy crops and on the hard surface of greenhouses without damaging it.
Tizona Zeus, a machine designed to protect crops in industrial greenhouses, was recently presented at an exhibition in Almeria, Spain, where the company tested the machine in many greenhouses.
When developing the machine, the designers focused on the operator, protecting him from chemical crop protection agents. At the same time, Tizona Zeus with a 25 hp Kubota engine. can be configured in many different ways with different applications such as a nozzle sprayer or scrap rake.
