During the summer holidays, the students of the Tatanovskaya school continue to take care of the garden and vegetable garden, which is located in the school yard.
Strawberries, raspberries, cherries, apple trees, tomatoes, cucumbers, carrots, peppers, onions and potatoes grow on one hectare. For 10 years now, the school has been cooperating with a large Moscow company that supplies seeds. The duties of the students include planting, care, weeding and top dressing. In one of the greenhouses, a record 430 kilograms of cucumbers were harvested.
– We plant cucumbers with seeds in warm greenhouses at technology lessons, and later here. When we plant – we water, when it rises – we fertilize. When they grow bigger, we tie them with ropes.
