Andrey Novik, Director of Soyuz Greenhouse Plant LLC, told about the new project. According to BelTA, the greenhouse will be built in the area of the local site “Airport” and will occupy an area of about 40 hectares.
Greenhouses of the fifth generation will be equipped with climate control, which will ensure the optimal temperature for plants (within +21 +23 degrees) all year round. Cucumbers and tomatoes will be the main products to be grown in greenhouses.
It is planned that the greenhouse enterprise will produce about 32 thousand tons of vegetables per year. We intend to implement them both on the domestic market and on the external one.
By the end of this year, the project documentation must be examined, and the construction is scheduled to begin in January 2023. The investor’s plans also include the construction of an administrative building, a heat station, the establishment of a water purification system, etc. The project will be implemented in 2 stages.
In the future, the new greenhouse enterprise intends to employ about 400 people, both men and women.
