The primary issues and problems of the greenhouse industry will be discussed at the IV annual Agricultural Forum-exhibition “Fruits and Vegetables of Russia – 2022”, which will be held on October 27-28, 2022 in Sochi, Chernomorskaya str., 4 SEA GALAXY Hotel Congress & SPA.
The event will be held with the support of the Union “Gardeners of Kuban”, the Union “Gardeners of Dagestan”, the Association “Greenhouses of Russia”, the Ministry of Agriculture of the Krasnodar Territory.
Mikhail Semykin, Director of the greenhouse direction “AGRISGAZ”, will make a presentation on “Comprehensive support of innovative greenhouse projects”.
The expert will talk about the current state of the greenhouse industry in Russia, the latest developments in the creation and management of microclimatic conditions in greenhouses, as well as highlight the main milestones of supporting turnkey projects that allow achieving guaranteed high results.
Over the past eight years, more than 1,000 hectares of modern greenhouse complexes have been built in Russia, which has doubled the production of vegetable products. In 2021, a total of 1.51 million tons of greenhouse vegetables were grown, including 650 thousand tons of tomatoes and 860 thousand tons of cucumber.
But another 400 thousand tons of tomatoes have to be imported, and to eliminate this volume of imports, about 600 hectares of specialized greenhouses of tomato light culture are required. To abandon the import of peppers and eggplants, 150 hectares of new greenhouses are required. If we consider other areas of the greenhouse business, then another 400 hectares of flower greenhouses are needed (the annual delivery of roses is 750 million pieces, chrysanthemums 250 million pieces, carnations more than 200 million pieces).
Taking into account the data of own production, imports of products, indicators of recommended medical consumption standards per capita, as well as the achievements of the yield of modern berry greenhouses, it is safe to say that only to provide residents of Moscow and the region requires the implementation of more than 200 hectares of modern berry greenhouses of closed ground with a capacity of at least 12 kg / m2 per year. And for the whole of Russia, this volume is comparable to the figure of 400 hectares (about 50 thousand are imported annually. tons of garden strawberries, and own production of garden strawberries by all types of farms takes 9% of actual consumption).
In total, the real demand of the market for the next 5 years, taking into account the possibilities of construction of facilities by Russian integrators, is at least 1200 hectares of modern greenhouses, and this is without taking into account 700 hectares, the disposal of which is inevitable in the coming years due to its obsolescence and wear.
Mikhail Semykin will also share innovative solutions in microclimate control systems. He will tell you what a microclimatic cell is, which, thanks to the work of the adiabatic system, significantly increases productivity in the warm season and in hot climatic conditions. It combines the best that fourth and fifth generation systems offer, allows agronomists to productively adjust the greenhouse microclimate in various conditions, build facilities at any latitude, including areas beyond the Arctic Circle or in hot southern regions.
Today, much attention is paid to innovations in the field of agriculture. The equipment is constantly being improved, technologies for fertilizing, working with planting material, for cleaning and storing final products are being updated. It is important to be aware of all the events and prospects of development in the market!
Agribusiness Magazine is organizing the forum “Fruits and Vegetables of Russia – 2022” in order to improve cooperation between scientific organizations, government agencies, companies engaged in the supply of various materials, and producers of fruit and vegetable products, and to help solve priority issues. As part of the business program, representatives of government authorities, analysts, production leaders with their cases and scientists who will present new technologies will speak. Within the framework of this forum, the following issues will be considered:
- state support and preferential lending to the industry,
- effective sales in networks (recommendations, the need for networks, the experience of agricultural producers),
- reduction of losses and excess costs in supply chains after harvest,
- subsidies and loans, as well as other issues relevant to gardeners and greenhouses.
Forum participants: heads of leading agricultural holdings and agricultural enterprises, fruit and vegetable growing companies, directors of fruit and vegetable processing and storage enterprises, top officials of the largest agricultural parks and wholesale distribution centers, experts in agrologistics, representatives of the largest retail chains, national unions and associations, investors, banks, representatives of government agencies and others
The Organizing Committee invites everyone to learn about innovative developments and proven technologies in the field of agriculture, get acquainted with the latest achievements in the fruit and vegetable field, exchange experience and successful practices with colleagues from other regions, personally communicate with managers and participants of the agricultural sector, take part in discussions within the framework of the program and establish contacts with future suppliers and buyers of your products.
