Scheduled for operational commencement in November, this high-tech facility stands as a testament to the region’s commitment to ensuring a continuous supply of fresh vegetables to its residents. The visionary project not only addresses the local demand for fresh produce but also contributes significantly to the economy by creating employment opportunities in the agriculture sector.

This state-of-the-art greenhouse complex, situated in the village of Narimanova, boasts a sprawling expanse of 20 hectares. Within this vast space, agriculturists will cultivate a staggering nine thousand tons of vegetables annually, with a predominant focus on cherry tomatoes. The facility’s advanced technology guarantees a consistent temperature of +26 degrees Celsius throughout the year, creating an optimal environment for the growth of these delicate crops. Moreover, the complex will enable efficient transportation of the produce from Tyumen to various markets, ensuring widespread availability for consumers.

The economic implications of this venture are noteworthy. Not only does it inject substantial capital into the local economy, but it also generates employment opportunities for hundreds of individuals. According to Vladimir Cheymetov, the head of the regional Department of Agriculture, the facility will create nearly 300 jobs. These employment opportunities, ranging from skilled labor to management positions, offer competitive wages, with salaries varying from 40,000 to 90,000 rubles, depending on productivity and expertise.

This development aligns seamlessly with the global trend toward sustainable agriculture and eco-friendly farming practices. By cultivating produce locally, Tyumen reduces its carbon footprint associated with long-distance transportation. Additionally, the greenhouse complex allows for precise control over environmental factors, minimizing water usage and pesticide application while maximizing crop yield. This emphasis on sustainability positions Tyumen as a leader in environmentally conscious farming.

Tyumen’s investment in this state-of-the-art greenhouse complex marks a significant leap forward in the realm of agriculture. Beyond the technological marvel and economic stimulus, the project underlines the region’s commitment to providing its residents with fresh, locally grown produce. Moreover, by embracing sustainable practices and creating job opportunities, Tyumen sets a stellar example for agricultural communities worldwide.
