In the greenhouses of the Krasnoyarsk Green Construction Department, preparations have begun for March 8, because it is in autumn that the first stage of growing tulips begins. Flower growers began to work with bulbs of future flowers.
Bulbs are planted in a special substrate, this is the “dark” stage, since future tulips are “kicked out” in a dark and cool room. Distillation lasts from 14 to 18 weeks, depending on the variety of the flower. During this period, the correct flower sprouts are formed.
In January, seedlings are taken out to greenhouses, where tulips begin to actively grow and form buds.
In total, this year about 200 thousand tulip bulbs will be manually planted in greenhouses of MP “UZS”. It is planned to grow about 19 varieties of tulips, the first part will be cut by Valentine’s Day and February 23, and the bulk – by International Women’s Day.
