OOO “TH Athena” has become the 38th participant in the “Labor Productivity” national project in the Orenburg region. The company’s management signed an agreement in June with the Ministry of Economic Development of the region to collaborate on implementing the project’s activities. This article explores the development and consequences of the company’s involvement in the project.
The implementation of lean technologies in OOO “TH Athena” will be supported by experts from the Regional Competence Center. This center has already engaged with 20 participants in the project. Over the course of six months, with the assistance of the center’s experts, the greenhouse complex will improve its production indicators. The initial stage will involve creating a working group comprising employees from the organization and experts from the center. The personnel will undergo training on lean production tools. During the diagnostic phase, the experts will analyze the current performance indicators and identify areas for improvement. The working group will then develop an improvement plan and apply tools such as mapping, time measurement, and retooling. The production optimization will commence with a “pilot flow” and later be implemented throughout the organization.
Participating in the National Project on Labor Productivity will enable OOO “TH Athena” to enhance its efficiency and reach a new level of competitiveness, ultimately increasing profitability and supporting business growth. The National Project on Labor Productivity was developed in response to President Vladimir Putin’s decree in May 2018, aiming to create conditions for continuous growth in labor productivity throughout the country. As part of the national project, a comprehensive set of business support measures has been designed, including financial incentives and expert assistance in optimizing production processes.
By actively engaging in the national project, OOO “TH Athena” demonstrates its commitment to improving labor productivity, fostering innovation, and contributing to the overall economic development of the Orenburg region.
