The construction of the second phase of the Nizhegorodsky greenhouse complex on the Bor has been called into question. This was announced by the head of the regional Ministry of Agriculture Nikolai Denisov at a meeting of the committee of the regional Legislative Assembly on the agro-industrial complex.
The immediate plans of the company included the construction of another greenhouse with an area of 15 hectares next to the already existing complex.
– Firstly, federal capex has now been canceled by 25%. And the second question arose with the difficulties with the population, as there were discontent over the existence of this complex. This calls into question the construction of the second complex,” Denisov said.
In addition, Borchan residents complained more than once about the excessively bright light, smell and noise coming from the greenhouses. After inspections by the prosecutor’s office, Rospotrebnadzor and Rostekhnadzor, violations were found in the work of the enterprise. A case was brought against the complex under Part 1 of Art. 6.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation (violation in the field of ensuring the sanitary and epidemiological welfare of the population). The power unit of the greenhouses “stood up” for a month and a half. Correction of violations has already begun. For these purposes, they plan to spend about 100 million rubles.
NN.RU correspondents visited the greenhouse complex and talked to the residents of the houses around the greenhouses. The locals did not know that a greenhouse complex for 17,000 square meters would be built between Ivonkino and Telyatyevo. The light from the greenhouses, the smell and noise did not allow them to exist peacefully.
